Happy Halloween!

Last year we had the dancing cowboy and cowering spider. This year is the cranky dinosaur and funny chicken.

Don't let Landon fool you; he actually hated his costume and it took A LOT of bribing for him to keep it on. (Note to self: next year HE picks out his own costume :)

Pumpkin Carving

The other night Blake and Landon carved a pumpkin after I scooped all of the seeds out. Delaney and I thought it was fun to get dirty, but Blake and Landon thought it was gross!

They could hardly contain their excitement!

You can't carve a pumpkin unless you are in your underwear. :)

Finished product!

Watch Out!

A four year old behind the wheel of a semi?
No big deal, right? :)
Landon got to go on a semi ride with his Grandma and Great Uncle this week. He even got to talk on the CB radio!

Best invention ever....

Now if these two could only sit together nicely and play, we would be as good as gold!

Oh yeah, I forgot to not put things in each other's faces and if Delaney would actually make the ride home instead of demanding being carried or trying to walk on her own!
"Hey, Mom, can you see me?"
Delaney trying to make it up the tunnel, but just not quite there yet.

Landon is Four!

Landon is now four years old! As I type this, he is "yelling" at Delaney.
"Laney, what did I say about stealing my toys? Stop it! You can't steal anything!" Meanwhile Delaney is loving taking everything of his and then running away from him. It is hilarious listening to him scold her.

Here are some pictures from Landon's party and it wouldn't be fall without a weiner roast! We had one at church last weekend and the weather was great!

Here is Miss Delaney in charge of the slide at church; she definitely thinks she is the boss!

Crazy Busy

Just when I think things may be slowing down, it seems we're busier than ever. Between preschool, swim lessons, babysitting, my work schedule, and trying to keep up with everyday stuff we're running, running, running! I need a lesson from Landon and Delaney in learning how to go with the flow and not worry so much..........

I think they have relaxed down pat!

The Healing Power of Band Aids

Landon fell down and got a scrape on the palm of his hand the other day. I asked him if I could kiss it to make it feel better. He said okay, but then after I kissed it he told me it didn't work. His scrape still hurt so I tried again and again with no success. My mommy kissess have now been surpassed by Band-Aids. It was a sad day of growing up (for me).
